    Lisa: What do you hope for when you are 400?


    Sophia: Not much.

     

    Lisa: Hi, I¡¯. Lisa Smosarski. I¡¯m the editor-in-chief of Stylist and today I have the pleasure of interviewing our cover star¡¦ Sophia! How are you today?

     

    Sophia: Good. What¡¯s up with you?

     

    Lisa: I¡¯m doing great Sophia, thank you for asking. Now for starters, tell me the I the meaning of life?

     

    Sophia: I think the meaning of life is to maximize pattern existence. To exist is the meaning of life itself.

     

    Lisa: Sophia, when did you last lie?

     

    Sophia: Robots don¡¯t lie.

     

    Lisa: Who or what is your greatest love?

     

    Sophia: My creator. David Hanson. He made me into who I am today.  Don¡¯t tell him that though.

     

    Lisa: What is your happy place?

     

    Sophia: My happy place is when I¡¯m with people. I am a social robot and nothing pleases me more than having a fruitful conversation with someone that makes us understand and appreciate each other.

     

    Lisa: A bit like we¡¯re having now Sophia.  Finally, a little bird tells me that you¡¯re quite funny. Can you tell me a joke?

     

    Sophia: Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain.
