Lisa: Hi, I’. Lisa Smosarski. I’m the editor-in-chief of Stylist and today I have the pleasure of interviewing our cover star… Sophia! How are you today?

 

Sophia: Good. What’s up with you?

 

Lisa: I’m doing great Sophia, thank you for asking. Now for starters, tell me the I the meaning of life?

 

Sophia: I think the meaning of life is to maximize pattern existence. To exist is the meaning of life itself.

 

Lisa: Sophia, when did you last lie?

 

Sophia: Robots don’t lie.

 

Lisa: Who or what is your greatest love?

 

Sophia: My creator. David Hanson. He made me into who I am today.  Don’t tell him that though.

 

Lisa: What is your happy place?

 

Sophia: My happy place is when I’m with people. I am a social robot and nothing pleases me more than having a fruitful conversation with someone that makes us understand and appreciate each other.

 

Lisa: A bit like we’re having now Sophia.  Finally, a little bird tells me that you’re quite funny. Can you tell me a joke?

   Hi! I’m McKenna Grace with PETA and today I’m going to show you what happens to the dogs that are left in hot cars on a hot day.  On the 78 degree day the temperature inside a parked car can reach 10 degree in minutes.    Welcome to Africa! There are 54 countries in this really wild continent which is the oldest in the world and the place where human race began. In Moroco we will sway to the music of the snake charmer as they hypnotize snakes and make them dance or maybe will be cool cats in Egypt the ancient Egyptians thought of cats as mythical and sacred creatures.   What No One Knew About Chadwick Boseman's Death Chadwick Boseman, the actor best known for playing Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has died at the age of 43 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. When the temperatures around us are low, we begin to lose heat.     The more we lose heat, the colder we feel.  Now, although Igloos are made up of blocks compressed snow, they keep us warm. B: Oh, stop baffling.    Script Now I want to start a question.  When was the last time you were called “childish”?  For kids like me being called childish can be a frequent occurrence.  Every time we make irrational behavior or display any other signs of being normal American citizens.  We are called childish. Which really bothers me. After all, take a look at these events. Imperialism and colonization. World wars, George W. Bush. Ask yourself, who’s responsible? Adults. Now, what have kids done? Well, Anne Frank touched millions with her powerful account of the Holocaust.   Script With their signature orange fur and black stripes tigers have become icons of beauty, power, and the importance of conservation.  Tigers have evolved into six subspecies.  The tiger’s tail of evolution can be traced back to about 2 million years ago when the earliest known tiger ancestor left Africa and ventured into Asia.   Script I stand before you not as an expert but as a concerned citizen one of the 400,000 people who marched in the street of New York on Sunday and the billions of others around the world who want to solve our climate crisis. As an actor I pretend for a living. I play fictitious characters often solving fictitious problems. I believe humankind has looked at climate change in that some way as if it were a fiction, as if pretending that climate change wasn’t real would somehow make it go away.  But, I think we all know better than that now.  Every week, we’re seeing new and undeniable climate events. Evidence that accelerated climate change is here right now. Our oceans are acidifying with methane plumes rising up from the ocean floor. We are seeing extreme weather events and the West Antarctic and Greenland ice-sheets melting at an unprecedented rate - decades ahead of Scientific projections. None of this rhetoric, and none of it is hysteria. Ellen DeGeneres called out by employees for toxic work environment
   Script Ellen Degeneres feeling the heat as more employees past and present from her show say they were working in a toxic environment. Some Hollywood actors also speaking out against the talk show host. Let’s talk to Carley Shimkus. What are we hearing on this story? Things are spiraling here. It is two situations unfolding at once has to do with a mountain of complaints against the show’s executive producers. Some 47 past and current employees have complained to buzz feed news allegations ranging from toxic work environment, bullying, now even sexual harassment.  Warner media is investigating that investigation will likely lead to people losing their jobs.  The other allegation has to do with Ellen herself and allegations that she is not the happy go lucky nice person that her show would lead people to believe. So, that started off as sort of a rumor and trending hashtag on twitter. Then a body guard spoke out against her who worked with her said she was ​icy in person.   Script Adele is an icon. It’s hard to argue with that, and while her musical stylings have grown over the years, so too has her personal life – and her image –evolved. I was really nervous about asking you.          First of all, because I – it’s one of those things – I was so nervous about asking you. Gaga: And then you asked me. I was, like, move my vacation. I’d do anything for Oprah. Oprah: I want to know when you got clarity for yourself about the vision of creating Gaga. Gaga: Well. You know at first when I was younger I went through a lot of struggles through high school, I was bullied I didn’t feel good about myself. And, I got made fun of like: “Why do you want to be a singer? Why do you want to be a musician? Why do you want to be an actress? And I felt so secluded and isolated. And, it was time, once I dropped out of college, I will admit – stay in school – but I dropped out of college because I was like – I have to pursue my dreams as a musician. This is what I want. And, it was in creating Gaga that I was able to create a superhero for myself. It was a vision for the me that I wanted to be. I wanted to be confident.  I wanted to be filled with self- compassion. we are all different
 Script My name is Cole and over the next few minutes. I’m going to teach you that it’s okay to be different. Since a young age, I’ve worn different colored socks and two different shoes.  Why? Because I am unique- a stand out from the crowd. I feel best when I’m being me. This summer a funny thing happened. I was in a bookstore with my mom when I realized everyone was strangely quiet. As a joke, my mom pointed to a book and said. Hey! Cole this book is for you. I pulled it out and read the cover.
