월(달), 요일, 날짜 영어로 말하기​

월 

월명칭은 길어서, 약어로 축약하여 쓸 수도 있습니다.

비즈니스 이메일에 약어를 사용해도 상관 없습니다.

1 월 January → Jan.

2 월 February → Feb.

3 월 March → Mar.

4 월 April → Apr.

5 월 May → May

6 월 June → Jun.

7 월 July → Jul.

8 월 August → Aug.

9 월 September → Sep.

10 월 October → Oct.

11 월 November → Nov.

12 월 December → Dec.

예를 들어, 12월 5일 "Dec. 5"라는 식으로 나타냅니다.

May는 짧기 때문에 생략될것이 없습니다.

또한 June과 July도 그대로 쓰는경우도 많고, 

그 경우는 마침표를 넣지 않고 씁니다.

요일

요일은 다음과 같이 축약합니다.

월요일 Monday → Mon.

화요일 Tuesday → Tue.

수요일 Wednesday → Wed.

목요일 Thursday → Thu.

금요일 Friday → Fri.

토요일 Saturday → Sat.

일요일 Sunday → Sun.

영어로 "특정 하루 '는 

on이라는 전치사를 사용합니다. 

예를 들면 "월요일에 할게"하는 경우 

on Monday가 정답입니다.
