중국이 디지털 위안화를 상용화할 수 있는 앱을 공식 출시했습니다.

The digital yuan isn’t a cryptocurrency, though

디지털 위안화는 암호화폐가 아니다

 

 

it was developed by the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) 

to replace banknotes and coins; thus, 

it isn’t a decentralized form of payment, 

nor will it operate on the blockchain.

인민은행(PBOC)이 지폐와 동전을 대체하기 위해 개발했습니다.  

분산형 지불 방식이 아니며 블록체인에서 작동하지도 않습니다.

 



 

 

 

베이징 동계올림픽 개최지와 상하이시, 광둥성 선전시 등 10여개 시범 지역에서만 사용가능합니다.

앱을 이용하여 디지털 위안화를 쓸 수 있습니다

현재는 중국 내 일부 지역에서만 제한적으로 사용이 가능하지만 

베이징 동계올림픽에 맞춰 외국인 방문객에게도 

디지털 위안화를 처음 선보일 가능성이 있습니다

 

 

Foreign visitors will be able to use the digital yuan 

to pay for things like accommodation and transportation 

within major venues at the Games, 

according to the government.

외국인 방문객들이 올림픽 주요 개최지 내에서 

숙박과 교통비 등의 비용을 지불하기 위해 

디지털 위안을 사용할 수 있게 될 것이라고 합니다.

 

 

The Games will also feature ATM machines 

that can convert foreign currencies, 

including US dollars, into virtual Chinese money, 

which will be carried in a digital yuan card (Chinese).

디지털 위안카드(중국어)로 휴대할 수 있는 

미국 달러 등 외화를 중국 가상 화폐로 환산할 수 있는 

ATM 기계도 선보입니다.

 

 

The diplomatic boycotts of the Games by countries 

including the US due to Beijing’s alleged human rights abuses in Xinjiang 

could also overshadow the rollout of the currency.

신장 자치구에서 중국의 인권 침해 혐의로 인해 

미국을 포함한 국가들이 올림픽에 대한 외교적 보이콧을 하는 것도

탕후루 Tanghulu 에 대해서
  Tanghulu is a popular street food snack in China. It consists of sweet-tart fresh fruits candy coated with a hardened sugar syrup. Once you try it, you’ll want to devour it again and again. It’s different from the sugar coated traditional candied fruit you may be used to.탕후루는 중국에서 인기 있는 길거리 음식입니다. 굳어진 설탕 시럽으로 코팅한 달콤하고 신맛이 나는 신선한 과일 사탕으로 되어 있습니다. 한번 먹어보면 계속해서 먹고 싶어질 겁니다. 설탕으로 코팅된 전통적인 설탕에 절인 과일과는 다릅니다.   My favorite is Strawberry Tanghulu, made with fresh strawberries, but you can make it with any fruit you like. Choose ripe fruit that is not too soft. Fresh fruit like berries (strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries) are perfect. It supposedly made its appearance during the Song dynasty, under Emperor Guangzong's reign.  Many stories speak of its origin. One legend has it that a beloved concubine was too ill to eat anything until a physician suggested dipping dried fruit in caramel. 'Bing' is Chinese for ice. The crustaceans have no natural predators in the Adriatic Sea.
