필리핀 수도 마닐라 인근에 있는 '탈(Taal)' 화산이 2년 만에 또 폭발했습니다.

탈 화산이 현지시간 26일 오전 7시 22분에 폭발했다고 발표했습니다.

The eruption forced thousands to flee their homes, 

as the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology warned of possible further activity.

필리핀 탈 화산에서 거대한 연기 구름이 피어오릅니다.. 

필리핀 화산 및 지진학 연구소(Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology)가 

추가 활동이 있을 수 있다고 경고하면서 

화산 폭발로 수천 명이 집을 떠나야 했습니다.

 

 

Residents around the Taal Volcano in the Philippines were put on alert 

after an eruption there Saturday sent a white plume of steam and ash a mile into the sky over the region, located about 40 miles south of Manila.

필리핀 탈 화산 주변 주민들은 토요일 화산 폭발로 인해 

마닐라 남쪽 약 40마일 떨어진 지역 상공으로 수증기와 화산재가 1마일 상공으로 치솟은 후 비상이 걸렸습니다.

 

 

The institute raised the alert level at the volcano to 3 on Saturday morning local time. 

The highest alert level is 5.

연구소는 현지 시간으로 토요일 아침 화산의 경계 수준을 3으로 높였습니다.

An eruption of Taal in January 2020 left communities covered in ash 

and prompted hundreds of thousands to be told to evacuate. 

Ash rained down on parts of Manila, where the main airport had to temporarily close.

The Philippines lies along the Pacific “Ring of Fire,” a region prone to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. The catastrophic eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1991 forced hundreds of thousands of people from their homes and the permanent closure of the United States' Clark Air Base. Pinatubo is about 80 miles north of Taal.

탕후루 Tanghulu 에 대해서
  Tanghulu is a popular street food snack in China. It consists of sweet-tart fresh fruits candy coated with a hardened sugar syrup. Once you try it, you’ll want to devour it again and again. It’s different from the sugar coated traditional candied fruit you may be used to.탕후루는 중국에서 인기 있는 길거리 음식입니다. 굳어진 설탕 시럽으로 코팅한 달콤하고 신맛이 나는 신선한 과일 사탕으로 되어 있습니다. 한번 먹어보면 계속해서 먹고 싶어질 겁니다. 설탕으로 코팅된 전통적인 설탕에 절인 과일과는 다릅니다.   My favorite is Strawberry Tanghulu, made with fresh strawberries, but you can make it with any fruit you like. Conveniently served skewered on a stick, making it a popular hit in Asian street markets. It supposedly made its appearance during the Song dynasty, under Emperor Guangzong's reign.  Many stories speak of its origin. One legend has it that a beloved concubine was too ill to eat anything until a physician suggested dipping dried fruit in caramel. The crustaceans have no natural predators in the Adriatic Sea.
