원숭이 두창 증상 Monkeypox symptoms

유럽과 북미 지역에서 확산하고 있는 원숭이두창 누적 확진자가 20여 개국에서 400명을 넘어섰습니다.

수포성 발진이 나타나면 원숭이두창을 떠올리는 상황이 되었습니다.. 

수포성 발진은 외형만 보고 수두, 대상포진, 농가진 인지 구별하기 쉽지 않습니다.

수두는 수두 대상포진 바이러스(VZV)에 의한 급성 감염 질환으로. 

피부 병변에 직접 접촉하거나 호흡기 분비물을 통해 감염됩니다. 

병변이 모두 딱지로 변하면서 자연히 치유됩니다. 

대상포진은 특정 부위에 국소적인 통증이 나타나는 것이 특징이지요. 

농가진은 전염성이 높은 박테리아 감염성 피부 질환으로, 무력증, 발열,설사 등이 동반 됩니다

Monkeypox has an incubation period of one to two weeks, though it can take up to 21 days for symptoms to develop in people who have contracted the virus.

원숭이 두창의 잠복기는 1~2주이지만 바이러스에 감염된 사람에게서 증상이 나타나기까지 최대 21일이 소요될 수 있습니다.

People with monkeypox typically begin to notice a fever, a rash and lesions with other symptoms similar to the flu.

원숭이 두창에 걸린 사람들은 일반적으로 독감과 유사한 다른 증상과 함께 열, 발진 병변을 느끼기 시작합니다.

** lesion - 병변

: an injured or diseased spot or area on or in the body

Monkeypox symptoms can include fever, headache, muscle aches and swollen lymph nodes. A characteristic of the disease is that it can cause lesions or pustules and a rash on the body, including the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet.

원숭이두창의 증상은 발열, 두통, 근육통, 림프절 붓기를 포함할수 있습니다. 이 질병의 특징은 손바닥과 발바닥을 비롯한 몸에 병변이나 농포, 발진을 일으킬 수 있다는 것입니다.

** swollen - 부어오른

** lymph - 림프

** node - (특히 인체 관절 부근의) 절

** lesion - 병변

** pustule - 농포, 고름집

** palm - 손바닥

** sole - 발바닥

Most people recover from the virus within two to four weeks without specific treatments, though it can be more severe in those who are immunocompromised or have other illnesses.

대부분의 사람들은 특별한 치료 없이 2주에서 4주 이내에 바이러스에서 회복되지만 면역이 저하되었거나 다른 질병이 있는 사람들에게는 더 심각할 수 있습니다.
